Ireland and the EU

Résumé

This chapter aims to identify the areas of broad agreement and disagreement among the various contributions - economic, social, political, Republic of Ireland-focused and Northern Ireland-focused - put forward in this volume. We argue that there is evidence of a broad approach to Irish-EU relations, which we term 'nationalism in internationalism', and we explore how this relationship might evolve in the future.
