Magnetoelastic coupling in RF Lamb acoustic waveguide based on TbCo2/FeCo nanostructerd thin film deposited on AlN/Diamond membrane.

Résumé

This study focuses on the investigation of RF Lamb acoustic waveguide sensitivity to magnetic field in piezomagnetic composite membrane under an applied magnetic field. RF acoustic wave Device was fabricated on AlN/Diamond membrane enabling the excitation of three modes with different polarisation A0, SH0, and S0 on the same platform. Magnetostrictive thin films with inplane magnetization was deposited on the membrane. The evolution of the different modes properties under applied magnetic field (magnitude and direction) was investigated. It was demonstrated that the sensitivity depends on the mode polarization and on the orientation of the magnetic field and this is well correlated to the DC magnetic field dependence of magneto-elastic stiffness constants.
